What is dog fish egg?

Dogfish eggs are small, oval-shaped and covered with a tough, leathery outer membrane. They range in size from 5 to 10 mm in diameter, depending on the species, and have a yellow-orange color. Female dogfish lay their eggs in protected areas such as rocky crevices or on kelp fronds to protect them from predators. The eggs take about 9 to 12 months to hatch, depending on water temperature.
